2008 Burlington County
Carpenter Cup Roster Announced

MAPLE SHADE—Five players from the Shawnee High School baseball team that went through the season with only three losses highlight the selections for the 2008 Burlington County Carpenter Cup squad that will begin play on June 11 at 9:00am at the University of Pennsylvania.

Senior Quinton Miller, the New Jersey Gatorade Player of the Year, leads the list of Renegades which also includes seniors Jon Hydock, Reid Pulford, Brett Knazek and junior Anthony Montefusco. 

Cherokee High School is represented by four players with Lenape adding three players and an alternate.

Delran, Holy Cross, Maple Shade and Northern Burlington each had two players with Seneca adding one player and an alternate.

The team will gather for its only practice at Maple Shade High on June 10 at 3:00pm.

The 2006 Burlington County squad won the championship, becoming the sixth South Jersey team and first from Burlington County to win the 16-team single elimination tournament hosted by the Philadelphia Phillies.
