MEDFORD--Locked in a 3-1 game through six innings, Riverside (3-1, 1-1 BCSL Freedom) scored a dozen times in the seventh inning to put away a tough Jaguar team 15-1 on Thursday in a BCSL Freedom Division game.
For the Rams, senior McNeil Wrice tossed a perfect game through four innings, recording six strikeouts. On the day, Riverside pitching recorded 13 strikeouts.
Junior Brendon Griffin paced the offense, going four for six with a double and four RBI's. Wrice added two hits with senior Alan Hendrick and juniors Micah Linz and Ryan Grob each scoring twice. Linz pitched two innings, recording four strikeouts with junior Albert 'Bert' Nevadunsky striking out the side in the seventh. Senior Todd Miller added a double and two RBI's.
Riverside has won three straight games and hosts Pemberton on Saturday at 11:00am.
