HAMILTON--Down 3-0, the Rams exploded for eight runs in the fourth inning and defeated Trenton Catholic Academy 13-8 in a BCSL Freedom Division game on Thursday.
For Riverside (4-3, 2-1 BCSL Freedom), sophomore Mike Wasco and junior Corey Mingin each had three hits with seniors Tim Wasco and McNeil Wrice adding three RBI's.
Junior Albert 'Bert' Nevadunsky pitched four and two-thirds innings of relief allowing one earned run to pick up the win. Senior Mark Cimorelli went the final one and one-thirds to pick up the save, holding the score at 9-7 in the sixth inning before Riverside scored four in the seventh.
Riverside travels to Florence for a BCSL Freedom Division game at 11:00am on Saturday.
