BCSL Freedom Division Game
Rams clinch 13th straight playoff appearance

RIVERSIDE—Senior Alan Hendrick threw a complete game five-hitter, with no walks and 10 strikeouts to lead Riverside to a 10-2 BCSL Freedom Division win against Trenton Catholic Friday afternoon. 

The win clinches an NJSIAA playoff berth for the 13th straight season under Ram head coach Gary Herron.

For Riverside (9-5, 5-2 BCSL Freedom), junior Brendon Griffin hit a home run and scored three times, adding two RBI’s.  Seniors Tim Wasco and Todd Miller each had two hits, with Miller adding a double.  Junior Albert ‘Bert’ Nevadunsky also added two hits for the Rams with sophomore Mike Wasco hitting a triple and scoring twice. 

For Trenton Catholic, Armani Hughes tripled with Carlos Hughes adding a double.

Riverside travels to Audubon for the 11th annual Ralph Shaw Memorial Classic championship game against Bishop Eustace at 3:00pm on Saturday.
