#3 Bishop Eustace Crusaders 16, Riverside Rams 12
11th Ralph Shaw Memorial Classic-Championship Game

AUDUBON--Riverside (9-6) gave number three ranked Bishop Eustace all it could handle, before falling 16-12 in the championship game of the 11th annual Ralph Shaw Memorial Classic, hosted by Audubon on Saturday.

For the Rams, junior Brendon Griffin scored four times and had two hits with senior Alan Hendrick adding three RBI's, two runs scored and a triple.  Hendrick and sophomore Mike Wasco each had two hits on the day.  

Seniors Dennis O'Hanlan and Tim Wasco also had two hits for Riverside with O'Hanlan doubling twice.

For Bishop Eustace (10-4), Bill Rowell went four for five with four runs scored and three doubles.  Kevin Prenderegast hit a grand slam for the Crusaders and finished with five RBI's.

O'Hanlan and senior Mark Cimorelli were named to the all-tournament team for Riverside.  O'Hanlan hit .375 in the two games of the tournament with three runs scored and two doubles.  Cimorelli threw a complete game against Audubon in the semi-finals, leading the Rams to a 5-3 win over the Green Wave.  In the two games of the tournament, Cimorelli pitched nine innings, with eight strikeouts and a 2.33 ERA.

The Rams travel to Plumstead Township on Tuesday to face New Egypt in a BCSL Freedom Division game.
