Riverside Rams 4, New Egypt Warriors 1
BCSL Freedom Division Game
PLUMSTEAD--Senior Mark Cimorelli threw a complete game, two-hitter, throwing only 76 pitches as Riverside (10-6, 6-2 BCSL Freedom) defeated New Egypt 4-1 on Wednesday afternoon. Cimorelli recorded four strikeouts in the game.
With the game tied at one in the seventh, senior Tim Wasco worked a bases loaded walk, forcing in senior Dennis O'Hanlan who had singled earlier in the inning to give the Rams a 2-1 lead. Senior McNeil Wrice then stole home and junior Brendon Griffin was awarded home on interference at third base for the final score.
Tim Wasco had tied the game in the fifth inning on a bases loaded walk.
For the Rams, Wrice had two hits, including a double with O'Hanlan also adding two hits.
Riverside hosts Florence on Thursday in a BCSL Freedom Division game.
