Riverside Rams 12, Palmyra Panthers 1 (5 innings)
BCSL Freedom Division Game

PALMYRA—Senior Alan Hendrick went four innings, recording nine strikeouts and went two for three at the plate as the Rams defeated Palmyra 12-1 on Friday afternoon.  Hendrick improved to 4-0 on the season.

For Riverside (11-7, 7-3 BCSL Freedom), senior Dennis O'Hanlan scored four times and added two hits, including a double.  Seniors McNeil Wrice and Tim Wasco each had two hits with Wrice scoring twice and Wasco hitting a double.  Wasco added two RBI's with junior Brendon Griffin doubling and scoring twice.

The Rams have now won 33 straight against Palmyra, dating back to the 1989 season.

With the NJSIAA playoff cutoff after today's game, the Rams enter the South Jersey Group I sectionals with a .611 winning percentage.  Riverside has qualified for the playoffs in 13 straight seasons, all under head coach Gary Herron.

Riverside faces the Eagles of Egg Harbor Township High School on Sunday at Waterfront Park, home of the Trenton Thunder.
