Rams raise $350 for breast cancer research

TRENTON—Senior Mark Cimorelli pitched a complete game, scattering eight hits, allowing only one earned run as Group I Riverside (12-7) defeated Group IV Egg Harbor Township 8-2 on Mother’s Day at Waterfront Park in Trenton, New Jersey.

The Mother’s Day game was a family affair as Ram head coach Gary Herron faced off against Eagle assistant Steve Herron, with brother Jack Herron as the base umpire.

For the Rams, senior McNeil Wrice went two for two with senior Tim Wasco adding two hits and two RBI’s.

Senior Dennis O’Hanlan added a double for Riverside .

In conjunction with the Ram game at Waterfront Park and Mother’s Day, Riverside baseball donated $1.00 from each ticket sold to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, South Jersey/Central Jersey affiliate, raising $350. 

Riverside hosts Cinnaminson on Monday in a BCSL Intra-Division game.
