 Cimorelli, Tim Wasco, Griffin Honored 1st Team SJ All-Group I
O'Hanlan, Mingin, Mike Wasco 2nd Team SJ-All Group I 


CHERRY HILL--Ram seniors Mark Cimorelli and Tim Wasco and junior Brendon Griffin were honored with first team South Jersey All-Group I honors and Ram senior Dennis O'Hanlan, junior Corey Mingin and sophomore Mike Wasco were honored with second team South Jersey All-Group I honors it was announced on Saturday.

Cimorelli was named All-South Jersey Group I first team pitcher by the Courier Post.  In 13 appearances, Cimorelli had five wins and an e.r.a. of 3.14.  Cimorelli led the Rams with five complete games.  Cimorelli had 48 strikeouts in 58 innings and finished his career with 97 strikeoouts.  Cimorelli was awarded All-South Jersey Group I second team honors as a junior, compiling a 6-1 record in nine games with a 2.81 e.r.a. and 44 strikeouts in 42 1/3 innings pitched.

Wasco was named All-South Jersey Group I first team second base by the Courier Post.  Wasco played all 26 games for the Rams, batting .402 (33/82) with nine doubles, 32 RBI and 22 runs scored.

Griffin was named All-South Jersey Group I first team first base by the Courier Post.  In 26 games, Griffin led the team with a .488 average (41/84) with 37 runs scored and 28 RBI.  Griffin added three doubles, three home runs and 12 stolen bases.

Cimorelli, Wasco and Griffin were awarded BCSL Freedom Division first team honors in late May with Griffin named to the 2006 Burlington County Carpenter Cup squad.

O'Hanlan was named All-South Jersey Group I second team infield by the Courier PostO'Hanlan batted .400 (30/75) for the Rams in 2006 with 28 runs scored eight doubles and 11 RBI.

Mingin was named All-South Jersey Group I second team pitcher pitcher by the Courier Post.  Mingin posted a 5-2 record with an e.r.a. of 2.91.  In 10 games, Mingin pitched 45 2/3 innings with 30 strikeouts.

Mike Wasco was named All-South Jersey Group I second team catcher by the Courier Post.  Wasco posted a .250 average with 23 RBI and 17 runs scored.  As a catcher, Wasco made only one error in 161 changes.

Overall, Riverside finished 18-8, 9-3 in the Burlington County Scholastic League Freedom Division, advancing to the South Jersey Group I championship game for the sixth time in the past 11 seasons.
