13th Annual Ralph Shaw Memorial Classic
AUDUBON—Audubon sophomore Wade Gies threw a complete game three-hitter as Audubon defeated Riverside 12-0 on Saturday in the semi-finals of the 13th annual Ralph Shaw Memorial Classic on Saturday.
Gies walked one and struck out eight in the five inning win.
For Riverside (0-1), senior catcher Mike Wasco had two hits.
The Green Wave jumped out with 10 runs in the first inning on five hits and two Ram errors and never looked back.
Audubon will face Bishop Eustace on Sunday at 3:00pm in the championship. Bishop Eustace defeated Camden Catholic 4-2 on Saturday. Riverside will play in the consolation game against Camden Catholic at 12:00pm on Sunday.
