Kinney No-Hitter for Riverside
BURLINGTON TWP.—Senior Dave Kinney threw a six inning complete game no-hitter as Riverside (2-1, 2-0 BCSL Freedom) defeated Burlington City 13-0 on Tuesday.
Kinney struck out five and walked one, throwing 65 pitches, 42 strikes.
Senior catcher Mike Wasco (four hits), junior Donnie Strain (three hits) and sophomore Dillon O’Neal (three hits) paced the Ram offense that banged out 16 hits.
The last Riverside no-hitter was on April 21, 2005 when Ian King and Mike Rossi combined to shutout Palmyra in a BCSL Freedom Division game.
Riverside travels to Palmyra on Thursday for a BCSL Freedom Division game.
