Pemberton Hornets 3, Riverside Rams 2
RIVERSIDE—Ryan Noone threw six innings and Josh Mann hit the eventual game-winning RBI single as Pemberton defeated Riverside 3-2 in a BCSL Instra-Division game on Monday.
Noone had seven strikeouts and allowed only five hits.
With the scored tie at one in the fifth, Casey Noone hit an RBI groundout to give the Hornets a 2-1 lead with Mann following with an RBI single to right field.
Riverside (3-3) got to within one at 3-2 on an RBI single by Mike Wasco with two-out in the seventh.
Matt Weaver picked up the save for Pemberton, recording two strikeouts in the seventh.
Also for the Hornets, Nick Hayduk had three hits including a triple.
The Rams travel to Florence on Friday for a BCSL Freedom Division game.
