Courier-Post staff
TRENTON
Senior Mark Cimorelli hurled a complete game, allowing eight hits and one run, as the Riverside High School baseball team defeated Egg Harbor Township 8-2 Sunday in a nonleague game at Waterfront Park.
Riverside donated $1 from the sales of each ticket for the game to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, South Jersey/Central Jersey affiliate, to raise a total of $350.
The Mother's Day game was a family affair of sorts as Riverside head coach Gary Herron faced his brother, Egg Harbor Township assistant coach Steve Herron, while his father, Jack Herron, served as a base umpire.
Senior McNeil Wrice went 2-for-2 and senior teammate Tim Wasco contributed a
pair of hits and two RBIs for Riverside (12-7).
