Speaking of perfect - The Rams are now 25-0 against Palmyra under head coach Gary Herron and have won 33 straight against the Panthers since the 1989 season. Arms Race - Before the late season call ups, 12 of the original 16 players were listed on the roster as pitchers along with their other positions. 11 of those 12 have pitched in at least one game this season. Only junior Brendon Griffin did not seen time on the hill in 2006. Micah and Bert - Juniors Micah Linz and Albert Nevadunsky led the Rams pitching staff with opponents batting .087 against each pitcher. Finding the right combo - Only three of the original 16 players on the varsity roster have started in every game for Riverside this season (Griffin, Tim Wasco, Wrice), however 14 of the 16 have played in at least 10 of the 26 games and 15 of the 16 have played in 9+ games. RHS is Cinnaminson North - Varsity Head Coach Gary Herron (1979), Vol. Varsity Assistant Brian Solomon (1988) and JV Head Coach Walter Huber (1993) are all graduates of Cinnaminson High School. 9/8 76er - Did you know that Coach Herron, Coach Solomon AND 76er head coach Mo Cheeks share the same birthday (September 8th)? One more Soul-Man note - The April 4th game against Bordentown was Coach Solomon's 300th game overall as a volunteer coach, including 54 at Cinnaminson (21-33) and 246 at Riverside (167-79). In 15 seasons, Solomon's record as an assistant is 205-119 in 324 games. The win over Holy Cross on May 17th was career win #200 for Solomon as an assistant.
