On January 1, 2005, then senior second baseman Matt Mann's father
Thomas passed away.
The thoughts and prayers of the Riverside baseball family are with the Cindy,
Melanie, TJ & Matt.
In tribute to the Mann family, the Riverside players wore a memorial logo
on their warm up shirts for the 2005 season.

Thomas J. Mann, Jr., of Little Egg Harbor died on January 1, 2005. He was 51 years old.
Born in Philadelphia, he was raised in Willingboro and graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1971. After graduation he proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. and was later employed as a Maintenance Supervisor with Amport Services in Pomona. Tom was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and also enjoyed cooking and eating.
He was happily married for 12 years to his beloved wife Diane and was the loving father of Thomas J. III, Melanie and Matthew. He will be sadly missed by his parents Thomas J., Sr. and Catherine Mann as well as his sisters Denise Hodges (Bill) and Trisha Mann and his brothers Dennis (Michelle), Rick, Chris, Terry, Ken and the late Jim.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Life Celebration Wednesday morning from 10-12 at Greentree Ministries Church, 125 School House Road, Egg Harbor Twp. His funeral service will follow at 12 noon and interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing.
