Bat Rule

The diameter at the thickest part of the bat should be no greater than 2 5/8", the bat shall not weigh,
numerically, more than three ounces less than the length of the bat.
(e.g. a 33 inch bat cannot weigh less than 30 ounces)

Official NJSIAA Pitching Limitation Rule


1.  A pitcher may not appear as a pitcher again for (3) consecutive calendar days after having pitched six (6) or more innings on any day.

Example - April 2 - Pitches 6-9 innings, can't pitch again until April 6

2.  A pitcher may not appear as a pitcher again for (2) consecutive calendar days after having pitched five (5) or more innings on any day.

Example - April 2 - Pitches 5 innings, can't pitch again until April 5

3.  A pitcher may not appear as a pitcher in more than a total of ten (10) innings during any four (4) day
calendar day period.  This does not set aside 1 or 2 above.

NOTE: ANY appearance* by a pitcher constitutes a full inning.

*An appearance occurs whenever a pitcher pitches one pitch, legal or illegal, or makes or attempts to make a play, he shall be charged for pitching one inning, whether he completes the inning or not.  If a pitcher takes part, or all of his preliminary warm-up pitches but does not make one pitch or make a play before he is removed, he SHALL NOT be charged as pitching that inning.
